Oliver Solar presents his Senior Thesis
Congratulations to Oliver Solar on his senior thesis, “Geochemical investigation of melting processes in mantle peridotites from the Talkeetna Arc”. His project explores the composition and oxygen fugacity of the subarc mantle from the Talkeetna Arc in Alaska. Oliver’s research was supervised by Prof. Jessica Warren at the University of Delaware and Dr. Elizabeth Cottrell at the National Museum of Natural History. He received funding from the UD Winter Fellows program and an Excellence in Geoscience award from the Department of Earth Sciences.
