Postdoc Nadine Grambling joins the lab

Nadine Grambling has joined the Mantle Processes group as a postdoctoral scholar! She will be studying olivine fabric development by combining rock deformation experiments with analysis of samples from the Talkeetna Intraoceanic Arc in Alaska. Her work is supported by NSF project EAR-2113408 and is a collaboration with Ningli Zhao (Carnegie Institution) and Greg Hirth (Brown University).

Nadine completed her PhD at the University of Tennessee Knoxville with a thesis that explored mantle processes using natural and experimental samples. She also worked on high school curriculum developing to integrate geoscience topics into state science standards.
